Looking much more homely I think you'll agree!Got a few days like this until all the new units and stuff are delivered. Oh well, at least I won't fall through the floor!
Looking good. That plant wasn't there before. I've stripped all the paint and wallpaper from my spare bedroom, but I'm not sure what to do next. More sanding maybe.
Best way to get things done is to start. Once you're commited to something it's usually surprisingly easy to finish. E.g. Once the floor's ripped up the fear of falling into the cellar is a pretty good motivation to finish the job!
Listen, since I was last here, I managed to: DEFROST freezer and fridge AND clean them + clean all the wee bits inside fridge too!
How's that for a start. I know it's nowhere near as drastic as the stuff you guys pull off.....but next weekend, I may totally renovate Alan's Lambretta, put new tiles up in the bathroom, paint all door frames in the flat, put new tyres on my dad's car, change the windows int the living room, build that chest of drawers we need for the bed room..........
W * O * W !
ReplyDeleteYou did all that in like ONE day?! Most impressive.

ReplyDelete[that's the plant that near the window in the first photo, I think]
ReplyDeleteYou're DIY-ing too, Ad! The pair of you are unstopable! What do you guys put in your coffee like??
Good luck with your project too, Ad. Put some penguin wallpaper up ;-D
Oh just natural healthy things, plus plenty of amphetamines obviously... ;o)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gavin -- that gives me some ideas on how to 'spice up' my coffee in order to get an energy boost! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am constantly struggling in terms of getting my arse in gear. Perhaps a new gearbox is what I really require.....
Or arse?
ReplyDelete;o)
