Goodbye crappy old 70's kitchen! Yes, it has just hours to live now. First thing tomorrow it's all being ripped out, down to and including the floor which has been wobbly every since the washing machine went through it's incontinent phase some months ago. It's not been a bad old kitchen really...what am I saying, it's always been crap - I can't wait to see the back of it! New kitchen stuff not being delivered until next week so I guess I'll be living on cold beans for a few days.
Nah - Actually I'm setting up a temporary kitchen in the lounge. It'll be alright. :o)
Off to bed soon but got to wait until my bread's ready to come out of the oven - Last chance to bake for a bit.
Good luck with the kitchen project! Be sure to:
ReplyDeleteA) Look after your back
B) Take a photo of the new one too so we can compare
[Hey -- I do actually like those kitchen cupboards and the mint[?] green colour...and the pattern on you floor.]
Have fun!! :-)
Updates here as they happen!
ReplyDeleteWow, bet you're pretty exited eh?
;o)
Jesus Christ like! Now I know why you chose that for your post. I thought you were just like...I dunno...changing a few bits and bobs. You've dismantled your house by the looks of it!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty excited, yeah!!
[after 'that', add 'NAME' -- sorry, Alan was talking to me so I pressed 'publish' instead of 'preview']
ReplyDeleteAh it makes sense now! Quitting for the day - knackered. This probably isn't ideal pre race preparation!
ReplyDeleteGot a floor yet?
ReplyDeletePre race preparation -- you didn't go out racing after all that, did you?????
ReplyDeleteRacing on Sunday. Me V Ads -well, a few other fun runners may turn up on the day that's the main event, the one the people are waiting for. ;o)
ReplyDeleteno floor yet - should be down by end of today.
Okidoki! Let's just hope that Brad Pitt doesn't get in your way, if he decides to go for a wee stroll in the area where you'll be racing!
ReplyDeleteMmmm... cold beans. Kept me going all week while Tabie was in France. Nothing better.
ReplyDeleteGood to see Brighton council have at the last minute started sweeping up the tons of pebbles that washed over the promenade in the storm a few weeks back. I was starting to imagine a 10k littered with runners clutching broken ankles.
