  1. Fucking hell!! [apart from the love bit] -- are you a superhero in your spare time, Gavin?

  2. I think I score high for being into the biking - healthy outdoors stuff etc.

    :o)

Have you tried this yet?...(wanders off to check Lilly's blog)

  3. That might be it, Gav! Unfortunately, I've had to put such activities on hold since January this year. The 'experts' are still trying to work out what's wrong. Really frustrating. I miss playing badminton terribly!! I'm seeing a physiotherapist at present.

  4. Which bit's not working properly?

  5. Pelvis, groin, loin, lower spine...god knows what the fuck is wrong. The so-called 'experts' are still not sure and have been unable to diagnose me thus far. The physiotherapist gave up on me yesterday. I am seeing my own GP on Monday. Again again again.

  6. Ooh dear, that doesn't sound good! I've never had much luck with physios either. Good luck with GP

  7. Thanks, Gav -- he's a twat though. I spoke to him yesterday morning, and I sure as hell will be demanding some X-rays or something - anything - a bit more drastic. Like I said, it's been going since January now, and it's not like the level of pain has decreased.

  8. Sorry - didn't mean to moan like that. It's just frustrating when you have to wait and wait and wait and feel as if you're just being fob[b?]ed off with various painkillers that do fuck all. I don't like filling my body with crap like that and in my view, if there's pain, there's something wrong somewhere...but hey, I am not a doctor so what do I know.

  9. [Ok ok, I am going to stop complaining now -- sorry again -- and have some breakfast and coffee. Have a good weekend!]

  10. Sorry to hear that...hope the weekend went well?

I used to have load of back aches and stuff. I'm not really sure what sorted it in the end but I don't think I got any real benefit from physios/doctors etc etc...

  11. I'm still alive, Gav -- cheers for asking :-)

Really glad to hear you're no longer suffering from such pains. How long did you have to struggle with them?
